Back a project

There is no publisher behind these games. Development is paid for by players, one donation at a time, and every campaign is tied to a specific project — not to "the studio" in general.

Campaigns

Pick a project. Pick an amount.

Payments are handled entirely by PayPal — we never see your card details, and you do not need a PayPal account to send one.

Transparency

Where the money actually goes.

We are two people with day-job savings and a rented office chair. Donations do not pay salaries — they pay for the specific things we cannot do ourselves.

Every month the devlog publishes what came in and what it bought, down to the individual invoice. If a campaign misses its goal, the work gets slower — it does not get cancelled, and nothing is refunded into a different project.

45%
Contract art & animation

Character animation and enemy rigs — the work one artist cannot absorb alone.

25%
Audio

Weapon and explosion sound design, voice recording, studio mixing time.

20%
Tools & licences

Engine plugins, asset libraries, source control and build machines.

10%
Store & fees

Steam registration, PayPal processing fees, business registration.

No money required

Four things that help as much as a donation.

01

Wishlist on Steam

Wishlists decide whether the store ever shows the game to anyone. It is free and it matters more than it should.

02

Play the free prototype

Cold Angle is finished and free. Download it, stream it, and tell us where it falls apart.

03

Send bug reports

A good repro from one player saves us a full day of guessing. The Discord has a channel for exactly that.

04

Share a devlog

We have no marketing budget. One repost puts the studio in front of more people than a month of our own posting.

Funding FAQ

How this works

Is a donation a pre-order?

No. A donation supports development and does not guarantee a copy of the game, a release date, or any specific feature. Tier rewards are perks we intend to deliver, not a purchase contract. If you want the game itself, wait for the store page — that is the honest answer.

Can I get a refund?

Donations are voluntary and non-refundable once processed. If something went wrong — a duplicate payment, a wrong amount — email us and we will sort it out directly through PayPal.

Do I need a PayPal account?

No. PayPal accepts card payments without an account in most countries. You are sent to PayPal's own checkout, so your card details never touch this site.

How do I claim a tier reward?

Add your Discord handle or the name you want in the credits to the PayPal note field. If you forget, email us the payment reference and we will match it up.

What happens if a campaign misses its goal?

Nothing is cancelled and nothing is refunded. The milestone simply takes longer, because we do the contracted work ourselves instead of paying a specialist to do it better.

Can I support the studio instead of one game?

Not right now. Every euro is tied to a project so the reporting stays honest. If you genuinely do not mind which, put it on the campaign with the further-away goal.
